Report: LAUNCHED AT JONES VALLEY, THERE WERE LOTS OF BOATS OUT ON A NICE DAY.UPPER PARKING LOT HAD ABOUT 15 RIGS IN IT AND LOWER RAMP WAS FULL. IF YOU GET OUT EARLY YOU SHOULD BE ABLE TO PARK AT THE RAMP, THERES ROOM FOR ABOUT 10 RIGS THERE THEN ANOTHER 10 OFF THE ACCESS ROARD GOING OUT TO THE SECONDARY RAMP.FISHING WAS GREAT IF YOU JUST WANT TO CATCH 1 1/2 TO 2 LB FISH. WE FISHED ON THE MAIN LAKE BETWEEN JONES VALLEY AND BRIDGE BAY AND CAUGHT AROUND 20 PLUS FISH ANY WHERE FROM 20 TO 40 FEET OF WATER. MOST CAME IN THE DEEPER WATER.CAUGHT MOST ON TEXAS RIGGED WORMS IN GREEN AND BROWN COLORS, AND CAUGHT A COUPLE ON TWIN TAIL GRUBS, WHICH WAS PUMPKIN SEED COLOR. ALL THE FISH WERE SPOTS.
    City: ANDERSON

Tips: IF YOU WANT TO HAVE FUN USE A ULTRA LITE ROD WITH LITE LINE, THOSE SPOTS WILL GIVE YOU A WORK OUT GETTING THEM TO THE BOAT.IM TALKING NO MORE THEN 6 LB TEST LINE AND FEATHER LITE ROD.

Report: Fished the Jones Valley area, landed 17 fish mostly spots and couple of large mouth, had a lot of strikes. All the fish weighed between 2 to 3.5 lbs, used Senkos the whole day in brown colors. We were catching everything in 20 to 30 ft of water in coves. Best fishing occured between 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm. Weather was mostly overcasted the whole day, temp. were 65 to 68 degrees. A perfect day for fishing!!!
    City: Cottonwood

Tips: Fish the Senkos real slow off the bottom using standard set up for Senkos.

Report: Two of us fished 2.5 days (Friday,Saturday, and Sunday). We tried many different techniques to catch fish, drifting live minnows worked the best. Of the 70 fish we caught, all but five were on minnows. A few on senko's, and a couple dart headed worms. Most of the fish were down a minimum of 20 feet to the bottom in 30 to 80 feet of water. We did not see any fish in the back of any coves and the further back a river arm we went, the less fish we saw.
    City: Rough and Ready

Tips: They seem to only want the real thing (minnows, minnows and an occassional senko). I would not go out without minnows!!!

Report: caught all my best fish on docks on upper sac arm. use jig or grub lots of fattys under docks, and easy to catch. No Gas Docks For You Tournament Guys,But Lots Of Docks To Fish,I Also Caught Fish At Silverthorn Docks Again Easy Pickens. This Pattern Of Small docks on upper sac will hold till Post Spawn.
    City: Lakehead

Tips: Spots love to get under docks more than beside them. these community fish do not go deep as often as open water fish,so remain consistant till spring or warmer weather comes. THESE SPOTS ARE BIG SO HANG ON.

Report: I live in the central valley and have to wonder why the previous posters are even allowed on the reports page..You guys aren't even funny..Actually, you are showing your ignorance to the rest of us...If you have a problem with Western Bass take it up with the owners and stop taking up space on the reports page.. This website was started to help all anglers improve their fishing and you morons are just wasted space..not only on the reports page but between your ears...When your earlier reports became nothing more than a way to get free advertizing space for your products no one was impressed..most anglers saw right through your reports and I for one decided NOT to buy the worms and products you were selling...I am sure other anglers made the same decision..So please just move on with whatever meaningless life you have left and leave the reports page to us real anglers...
