Water Temp: 46
Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)
Report: Fished all day and caught one smallie on an inflated nightcrawler. Saw two of the lakes really good anglers catching small fish the one using drop shot got the most but nothing to brag about. Saw a couple of nice trout 3#-4# caught in the narrows.
City: LivermoreTips: Slow down, plenty of shallow rocks showing with low water level.

Report: Went to Deli for some bass/trout action and had a hard time finding any biters. We threw jigs, drop shot and anything we could find. No takers we did end up with one trout I got on a spoon. The narrows are really narrow now. Hope the bite picks up soon.

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)
Report: Fished three days last week ironically from the bank. 6 fish each day with an avg of 1.5 to 3lbs both large and smallmouth. Micro-weenies on a Carolina Rig will get ya where ya want to be, and a Rico topwater by the docks in the a.m will as well.
Spawn is apparent and water temp is warm so go shallow 8 to 10ft with slow retrieve.
Good Luck!
City: San RamonTips: Carolina Rig. This lake is infamous for micro-weenie baits preferably purple with black flake or reds.

Water Temp: 59
Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)
Report: HIT DEL VALLE THE LEAS 3 DAYS JUST TO HAVE SOME FUN, BUT FISHING WAS TOUGH. MANAGED A FEW FISH BUT THEY WERENT ON ANY KIND OF REAL PATTERN... THIS LAKE IS BEGINING TO FALL APART. EAST BAY REGIONAL PARKS NEED TO RE-EVALUATE HOW THEY MANAGE THIER FISHERIES. 4 YEARS AGO IT WAS A BLAST AND NOW, WELL ITS POOR. THIS TIME OF YEAR USED TO BE GREAT AND I DON'T UNDERSTAND IT. THEY UP THE PRICE TO FISH AND I DONT SEE MUCH GOING BACK TO THE RECOURCE. AND I DONT JUST MEAN THIS WEEK! IT IS UNREAL WHAT YOU PAY TO JUST GET IN AND EVEN THE TROUT ARENT PLANTED IN THE NUMBERS THEY USED TOO. SHADOW CLIFFS IS EVEN WORSE. ANYWAY, IT IS DISHEARTNING,AND WITH THE MONEY PEOPLE ARE PAYING THERE IS NO EXCUSE, GET RID OF THE PARK POLICE MAKING 100,000 A YEAR AND GET THESE LAKES UP TO THE STANDARD THEY SET JUST A FEW SHORT YEARS AGO. THAT BEING SAID... THE FISH A SPREAD WAY OUT, IF YOU FIND ONE YOU MAY FIND TWO BUT GOOD LUCK, CAUGHT THEM ON DD22'S, DART HEAD (MORNING DAWN), AND STAYCE'S. BETTER FISH WILL DEFINATLEY COME ON THE RIP BAIT BUT YOU WILL THROW A WHILE TO GET THEM. CHARTRUSE SHAD AND CRAWDAD COLORED DD22S ALONG THE STEEP BLUFFS. IF YOU CAN NOT FIND THEM ANYWHERE ELSE HIT THE STEEP BLUFFS AND YOU'LL FIND THE DEPTH THEY WILL BE AT (AS SHALLOW AS 3 AS DEEP AS 30). AGAIN THIS LAKE IS WHERE I LEARNED TO FISH AND I CANT BELIEVE THE POOR MANAGMENT OF ITS FISHING RECOURCES, IT REALLY MAKES ME SAD TO FISH A LAKE WHERE I USED TO CATCH 30-50 FISH A TRIP AND BARLEY SCRAPE TOGETHER 5 FOR THE DAY. SHADOW CLIFFS IS EVEN WORSE BUT THATS ANOTHER STORY. BE PATIENT AND THROW THAT STAYCE AS LONG AS THE OLD WRIST CAN TAKE IT.
Tips: BLUFFS BY THE DAM STAY OUT OF THE SOUTH END UNLESS YOUR FISHING FOR TROUT.

Report: Water level dropping, be careful going through the narrows. There is an unmarked hazard right in the middle, you can see the rocks starting to show. GO SLOW. Lake wants to turnover, did manage to get a limit 2-4 lbs. on jigs 25 ft. fished slow. 1/4-3/8 dark colors. Hopefully it will get better after this rain. Good Luck.

Water Temp: ?low 60's (hand
Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)
Report: never fished this little lake before. rented a skiff and took off to check it out. water is quite clear up towards the dam end. i spent most of the day tucked into a cove i found up near dam end of lake. there was a nice mudline holding balls of shad in there, and managed to pick 4 keeper bass out of it. 2 on blades and 2 on the trap. nothing real big. the lower (marina) side of lake is much murkier but i couldn't get any fish down there.
City: S.F.Tips: look for shad

Water Temp: unknown
Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)
Report: Arrived at Del Valle at 6:30am and went to the far side of the lake across from the marina. Found a good looking spot for some trout, but I already had a bass lure tied on...so I gave it a try. What a good decision....8 bass in 90 minutes. They were holding on nothing more than a bottom composition change (rocky to mud bottom). No other cover was present. Used reaction baits and they were slamming it hard. Of the 8, the biggest was about 3.
Came back the next morning to see if it was a fluke and caught only 3, but the biggest took a chartruese rattletrap and went 5.5lbs.
City: Fremont, CATips: Reaction baits are a good choice since bass are trying to fatten up for the winter.

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)
Report: Went fishing from the shore (no boat). Caught one good 2 pound largemouth. Caught the fish drop shoting a puple and clear robo worm. Used my light rod and fought really good.
tight lines and big smiles!Tips: Wind was on and off so drop shotting was a good decision. Use shad looking worms.

Report: Helped my buddy break in his boat we were out 4-6 hrs good solid bite outside weedlines and tule lines. largest was 2.3 many others just below that. 20 ft seemed about right depth fished all over the lake weather was perfect!
City: fremontTips: try split shot , dropshot shaky head jigs no reaction bites for us but i threw spinnerbaits cranks and topwater but no takers for some reason!

Water Temp: 79
Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)
Report: 12 bass in total (1 smallie) and three trout. The trout were accidentally caught while fishing for bass. They were good ones three, seven and eight pounds! Drop shotting or dart head 4: Robo Worms in Aaron's magic color.
City: San RamonTips: Find the bait balls. Bait was schooling in pockets at around 20 feet deep. Small worms to match size of minnows. Topwater action early with poppers around tules.

Water Temp: 70
Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)
Report: first time on the lake this year...a beautiful day with the winds calmer than usual, so i couldn't blame the weather..couldn't figure out what was going on with mr. bass. hooked 6 of them, boated 4 with 2 dinks. saw bigger fish in the shallow weeds, but they didn't want to play. biggest fish of the day was a 4# catfish that ate my crank..sporadically graphed bait, but only a couple of fish...dunno, maybe it was a post spawn/full moon thing...
Tips: based on today, i can't really offer any solid advice. if you go out and its tough like today, maybe fishing steep walls and deeper would be better...

Water Temp: 69
Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)
Report: Very windy and cold on the lake. Caught 7 fish total of which only 4 were bass. Caught 2 very nice 3lb trout and a 6lb salmon all on bass lures. There was no soft plastic bite except for a trout that kept following my spinner bait but would not stike. I followed up with a brush hog and nailed it. The other trout hit a spinner bait and the the salmon fell for a drop shot robo worm - what a hog. The bass were shallow in the tulle line taken on spinner bait. Nothing flipping wood or carolina rigging the weed line or creek channels or points. The wind made the spinner bait the right choice.
City: Foster CityTips: Read the conditions and throw the bait that matches the conditions. Big wind would lead me to a spinner bait, jerk or crank. Fish are shallow in the weed lines.

Water Temp: 59-61
Water Clarity: Muddy (0-2 foot visibility)
Report: late start at 2pm (mostlyly breaking in new lower unit). South was still heavily stained to muddy. Windy day. fished shallows and bluff walls with jigs, spinnerbaits, dropshot and swimbaits. only caught one small dink on a power ringworm or all things. stayed till 7pm.
More than a few folks completely ignored the speed limit and were up on pad - one idiot even had the nerve to go blasting by the marina on full pad. I stayed under 12mph all day.
City: belmontTips: water temp dropped thru the day, maybe the cold north wind blowing had something to do with the bite as well.

Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)
Report: Took my bass rod n trout pole out to do some bank fishn. My bass pole didnt even have a chance to hit the water. Started at 9:30 am limited by 11 am and just fished for size. Oh yeah we were killin the trout. Sorry but no bass. We had 2 double hook ups and atleast 30 trout on. We left at 2:30 pm. Lucky day we hit the honey hole.
Tips: Panther Martins, Kastmasters, N Roostertailes. Start early the bite slowed down when the water warmed up. Best trout fishing I've ever had. I was hopin there was a big ol Bass feedin on them trout.

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)
Report: fishing started picking up with the warm weather but unfortunatly I was only able to get out once it started getting cold. Despite the snow in the hills around the lake we had a decent day. we got 10 fish no real size to them unfortunatly. We were using carolina rigged robo worms, senkos, and, baby brush hogs. We even caught two trout off robo worms.
City: SacramentoTips: Try fishing anywere there are fist size rocks on about a 30 degree slope in about 25 feet of water. Fishing picked up after 10am. Brown with yellow tails, and purple roboworms are working the best. Did good off pumpkin baby brush hogs too. No hits off the huddlston yet...
