Water Temp: Warm:)
Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)
Report: I just went to Del Valle to test my 1975 open bow family boat that I put a new steering wheel and steering cable assemby in and of course while I was there I tried the bass and it was slow for me but I did not start until 12:00 so I missed the AM bite, got one 2lber on a watermellon candy 6 inch worm drop shotting in about 2.5 hrs and said OK let see if we can get some trout and got 4 to 18 inches on rainbow power bait, Hey I am a bass fisherman but some times you got to do what you got to do to keep the boy happy.
City: San JoseTips: I would try the south end with senkos and top water early, the water is a little more stained in the south end and fish should not be as skidish, the north end where I fished you could see 8-12 feet down, look like lake Mead, OK lake Mead you can see down 20-30:)To bad you have to be off the water by 7:00 pm because I bet a popper would kill them in coves at dusk. Spoke to a guy that could not launch his Ranger bass boat because it had little water in the live well, if you are not bone dry you will not get on the lake unless you have a band they give you connected to your trailor and boat, He fished from the bank by the docks and got one bass there so you can catch bass from the bank:)

Water Temp: 65-70
Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)
Report: Went on a night expedition with a buddy and the water was surprisingly warm and clear for being cold at night. We started out with nightcrawlers and ended up with 6 3-4lb catfish, a 5lb striper and a 15inch throwback striper. We also caught another 3lb cat on a live crawfish that was caught at the lake. The catfish bite right now is excellent and stripers can be had in the mornings and evenings near the dam.
Please note that night fishing is illegal and you could end up with a trespassing charge.

Report: We got out there around 4pm, we fished the south end to the left of the swim beach and my buddy caught a 2lb trout within 10 minutes on white power eggs. I caught a couple of small trout on a kastmaster. No LMB though. We stayed until closing and my buddy caught a catfish and some other fish that I couldn't identify on chicken liver. I had a HUGE bite from a striper, but he shook off the hook.
City: FremontTips: Go for stipers after 6pm with chicken liver or top water lures.

My buddy was using my rod and reel my lure and I told him where to cast, so it is really my catch. The other was at the docks on a brushhog. Wind started to pick up around 12.

Water Temp: 48-50
Water Clarity: Muddy (0-2 foot visibility)
Report: trolled the whole lake with flashers and rapala's and multicolored spoons. not one bite. very frustrating. went out to weeks ago and limited out in a couple of hours. the rains and water level have put a damper on the lake for the time being. However, some guy out there caught a 9 pounder on an orange rapala trolling on the surface. this thing was huge. some guys caught a couple on power bait on the eastern bay shore by the damn. good luck.

Report: Does anybody else fish this lake? I see plenty of people out htere in bass boats. Just wondering if Anybody has anything to share. Whats up? Share the wealth.

Water Temp: 57 degrees
Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)
Report: Del Valle hasn't turned over yet. Water is still down 20 feet. Water temp was 60 degress south end
57 degrees by the dam. We fished before the storm. The bite was good for trout fishing. Started the morning throwing ripbaits. You could see the fish surfacing by the beach. Caught 2 trout and one 3 lbs striper. Headed toward the damn marking fish in 60 ft of water, probably trout. Caught 2 bass dropshotting along the rock walls. The cold north wind picked up headed home.
City: FremontTips: Fish for trout catch bass. Fish for bass catch trout. Wait for the lake to turn over and the storms to pass.

Water Temp: 58@ Dam 60-62@
Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)
Report: Went out three days in a row last week and caught a 6+ each day(all C/R). Two off a huddleston and one off a jig. One fish was 8.1 right near the docks. I think that the only fish that are up spawning in the whole lake are right near the docks. These are the only beds that i have seen and i think that these bass spawn earlier than the rest because the structure doesn't really change in regard to the rising water. There is so little change to structure and the south end is about 3-4 degrees warmer.
City: DublinTips: Throw swimbaits for the big ones. The lake is about to turn on when it fills up. PLEASE PRACTICE CATCH AND RELEASE!

Water Temp: unknown
Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)
Report: Started the day with 1 pound largemouth on the first cast using my favorite cartreuse jerkbait. Spent the next few hours fishing shallow cover using senkos with no luck. Fished a point half way up the lake and caught a 1 pound smallmouth and a 1 pound largemouth on the cartreuse jerkbait. Made another pass on this point and caught a few small stripers, some just larger than the 18 inch limit. Came back to this point later in the day and could not keep the stripers off the chartreuse jerkbait. By the end of the day me and my son had a total of 29 stripers , 3 largemouth and 1 smallmouth bass.

Water Temp: 50-52
Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)
Report: Fished Del Valle all day on Sunday. The water level is really low. Lake was drained to avid the flooding they had last year. Water had risen 5' due to rains last week. Run-off from snow is keeping the water cold. Headed out at 7am, tried fishing shallow at first. Caught a 3lb trout on a 6" senko. Then we lost it when the stringer came loose. :(
Threw everything in the arsenal. One missed bite under structure.
One guy in a kickboat said he caught an 18" striper.
City: San FranciscoTips: Fish slow and deep. With the water as shallow and cold as it is, the bass are hessitant to move up.
