Report: This ish report is REALLY or Pyramid Lake just up the road. I have attemped to post this report twice now under that lake name and it's not taking! So, the striper action has been happening early in the morning out there along with some black bass and smallmouth mixed in! We ish the north end o the island out in open water. Just look or the splashes and diving birds! It is important to be one o the FIRST olks out on the water as soon as the park opens!!!
    City: los angeles

Tips: We threw 5/8 oz silver crock spoons and white hair jigs at all o these ish and did airly well. 10 to 15 ish each guy, early in the morning. The only problem was that all the ish were not bigger than two pounds a piece! But tons o un! Good luck!

Report: I am new rom Wisconsin and stuck without a boat. Any advice or a stranded shore isherman searching or bass? Tried plastic worms rigged up in everything except drop-shotting, and assorted rapala style lures. Fished top, bottom... everywhere rom about 2pm to dark. Caught a bunch o guppies and had what looked to be a 18-20" largemouth ollow a 5" white yamamoto worm right up to the bank but would not go or it. I think I'm in the ball park but they won't seem to hit what I'm used to.Thanks.

Report: Well, today was just a perect example that it pays to move to another location when the ish just won't bite at your avorite "honey holes". I started pretty late today at 10:30am, I just could'nt get up ANY earlier ater being in Vegas ALL week! Whew! Anyway, I caught a little 1 lbs bass in 7 minutes ater my irst cast. Then I STRUGGLED or another bite or 2 hours! By the time I arrived the mud lines were becomming quite developed and the wind was blowing steady with a dropping air pressure rom 28.60 to 28.30. A pretty average thing by this time o the day. The day did'nt look too productive. However, at 1:00 pm the air pressure leveled o and I moved to a new location! The wind stayed steady and was increasing a little. In one hour I caught 6 ish all 2 to 3 lbs using my lite gear! Had I been able to stay longer I think I could have been able to improve on that score a little!the
    City: los angeles

Tips: My tip is this....I recommend that you start very early in the day as soon as you can handle it BEFORE the wind comes up and the hot sun beams on you! Head or the steep rocky (ist size rocks to ootball sized) points that drop into the MAIN lake channels!! This is where the GOOD sized ish are NOW!!! They are still slashing into those bass ry but, that becomes less and less o a eeding choice as time goes by. WARNING!!!! On June 27th the lake will be closed rom 6:00am to 2:00pm or a "treatment". Known as "blue stoning" and the ishing REALLY drops o or about a week ater this happens! It's to control the weed growth in the lake since this water is ater all drinking water or nearby cities. I strongly suggest you pick another lake until the next ollowing weekend!!! Good luck!

Report: Nice weather, but a hanging low pressure on the lake all day really slowed down the action. Small plastics worked or just 4 ish rom 8am to 1:30pm. Whew! It was tough going! It seems as long as you can arrive on a nice steady air pressure day the ishing does well. It became dangerously windy out there rom 1:00pm on rom the ski arm and I'm sure some olks were sweating bullets trying to get thier boats in on the east ramp!
    City: Los Angeles

Tips: The water or the irst part o the day is extermly clear and you can see some rather large ish near shore but with that low pressure present it WILL be tough going or you! Live bait might help in these tough conditions. Lite line is a MUST!

Report: Well, there's good news and bad news. The good news is anyone can catch ish just walking the bank still. The bad news is the bigger ish have moved out to deeper water now. For some reason they have really dropped the water level way too ast and too soon given the time o year! In just this last week the lake has dropped another 10 t. I hope the ry get to hatch beore the eggs ind themseleves rying in the sun! Mysel and one riend caught 9 ish but they were smaller males in the 1 to 2 lbs class. I your in a boat I would say, be on guard, I saw some very careless driving with skiers in tow!! And summer has'nt even started yet!! Good luck!
    City: los Angeles

Tips: Once again the best bite was early in the a. m. By 11:00amthe bite starts to die o. We used nightcrawlers and small plastics. The boat traic is really up, which will create mudlines, which in turn will be an advantage later this summer. Were getting to the "post spawn" stage already and it's going to slow down or a while.

Report: Once again, here's the report or anyone walking the bank. The ish are still on the spawn and are in close or now. The un part is you can score on a big ish i you just keep casting! Mysel and two riends ished rom 10am until 2pm ( I know, I know, very late start) with the best part o the bite in the irst hour. We scored a dozen ish with the big ish o the day scored by my riend Joe at a even 5lbs, nice ish! Once the water started to dirty up( in the hot summer that's a good thing ) rom all the boats zooming around, (which had to be about a million!) the bite died o
    City: Los Angeles

Tips: Once again, we opted or most o the day to use live nightcrawlers and lite line. Most people I saw were making one mistake out there. You HAVE to move your rig along the bottom!! You won't do very well just throwing your worm out and just sitting there! See you on the bank!

Report: Wow! You can SEE the ish right there!! They are right now on the spawn! You can see them rubbing thier sides to loosen the eggs up. For anyone walking the bank with good sunglasses you'll ind ish! Slow crawling you rig is still best! I igure we'll have another week or so o this and then we start "post-spawn" or some o the ish.
    City: los angeles

Tips: For the bank angler I would suggest keeping low and not moving around i you don't have to. Light line( I was using 4lbs test) a good bait hook and live nightcrawlers "ly-lined" worked best today. 6 ish, best was 4lbs. Nice day on the lake, very pretty! Look out! Here comes summer!!!

Report: Whow! What a big cold ront! It really slowed down the action. Started at 7:45am, very windy or so early in the day. But it died down later at 10:30am (very unsal, normally it's just the opposite) I knew it was going to happen, it was good or a couple o bites between 10:45am to 11:05am. 1 ish hit a small J B worm, nice at emale around 3lbs, spit the hook at me at the top, that was it! Let 12:00 noon, wind was coming back up.
