Report: Got a late start at 10am and fished until 3pm with my wife. 5 bass went 1.5 to 2 lbs., and one that went 3.5 lb. Nice day with a little breeze...it would have been hot if not for the wind.

Tips: Use the wind to target your fishing areas when its breezy.

Report: Averaging just 1 bite per 2hr trip. I broke off a big girl on a senko with #5 Maxima. Next trip I got a #3 on a beaver. No bites today.

Tips: Drag plastics slow? I don't know if the fish are refusing my baits or if I am not around fish. I am shore fishing BTW. I wish they would finish the dam ork so I could fish some better spots.

    Water Temp: Warming

Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)

Report: I fished Thursday with my Dad and nephew with powerbait for 2 slime rockets in 3 hours. Not my thing. The lake looked great so I went back today with my bass gear and it was ON! I caught (and released) a 20 pound limit of spotted bass in 15 minutes with less than 10 casts. Largest fish was just under 7 pounds. I don't have a boat right now so it was all off the bank slow rolling a spinnerbait uphill.
    City: Oakhurst

Tips: The bite is early. I caught everything before 8:30 and only 1 more in the next 2 hours. I used an 8'6" rod to make long casts to reach the fish which are staging on weedbeds at the breakline in about 20' of water.

Report: Fished in the rain for 2 hours near the dam, on the bank. Hooked 3 on a dropshot about 30 feet deep. Landed one nice spot, one came off and one broke me off. 4" dark plastics were working for me. No bites on a splitshot rig.
    City: Oakhurst

Tips: Take a boat if you got one. Got snagged repeatedly fishing from the bank. Use a 30" leader on your dropshot or your worm will br in the weeds.

Report: Only a short time to fish. Around 9AM
picked up a 2# Off the point with the fallen trees, past the Sheriff's tower on a shakey head
with a "bold bluegill" (brown and chartruese) worm. Fought surprisingly better than the bass I
normally catch on Anderson. Between 8AM - 8PM the Lake becomes a freeway of skiers, jetskiers,
and wakeboarders. Cost $35 to register for the year. Tried night fishing for the first time. Got some bumbs on a C-rigged Black Lizard but couldn't get a hook-up. The stars were beautiful.+

Tips: First time on the lake.
