Report: Lake is putting out good limits of spots and large mouth. Lighter line getting more bites. 6 lb the most productive. Split shot brush hogs 10 to 30 feet. Find the bait depth and work the same depth. Afternoons they go deeper. Drop shot island humps that you can see fish on depth finder.
    City: orangevale

Tips: Work everything slow. We fished sat right after the front friday nite. Wecaught about 15 fish most around 12 inches. Light line helps. Use your electronics to fish best areas. Beware carp are everywhere. I was using my aqua view on some spots I thought had bass and they were carp.If you don't get bit on a spot in 5 minutes leave.

Report: Fished the Memorial Day weekend. In spite of the outrageous boat traffic the fishing was great. Stopped counting at 30 bass - LM, SM, Spots. Largest was 4.0. Caught fish on tube, brush hog, senko, rip bait and 4" worm from 3 to 15 ft. Most were on rocky shore or weed edges but the biggest fish came in 15ft on submerged humps with grass on them. Best color was Arons Magic. Carolina rigs, split shot, and texas rig all worked. Flipped and pitched tube baits to trees in shallow water and around the boat dock and caught fish. I had a 5 yr old kid on board dragging a split shot worm and he caught fish.
    City: Foster City

Tips: They are running water which has the bite turned on. Throw any soft plastic from shore to 15 ft and hang on. If I only had one bait and one color to throw it would without doubt be a 4" Robo in Arons Magic.

Report: This lake is pretty good. we went out about 6:45 to camanche arm and narrows just like the newspaper reported and spanked about 30 fish. Most came on worms but jigs also worked. Tough since it had just rained we had NONE over 2 # either they seemed to be all small males or females. Mixed bag with a few spotted bass. All in all good trip just dont know where the big fish are at this lake. Since i been coming here the bigest was 3.1 # spot and haven't heard of many people catching larger fish here either good luck !!!

Tips: try to find big fish small ones will bite a purple worm for ever but try and find the big ones can u handle it ??

Report: 1st trip to this pond. Nice calm, cold morning, fishin' w/ my dad. Found lots of interesting structure throughout the main body. Four spots, 1.5 - 3.0 lbs (missed 3 other bites). All fish were solid chunks, in 5-15 feet. Jigs, hula grubs, & senkos. OK for a little over a half day. I'll be back.
    City: Castro Valley, CA

Tips: Studied the map the night before, then spent probably 1/3 - 1/2 my time looking at structure on the graph. Not something I'm real good at, but it seemed to pay off.
