Tiger Trout to be Stocked in Arizona Rim Country for Memorial Day Weekend
The Arizona Game and Fish Department will be stocking a hybrid trout new to Arizona, in two Arizona Rim Country lakes this week, just in time for Memorial Day weekend. Willow Springs Lake and Woods Canyon Lake will each be stocked with catchable size (8-10 inch) tiger trout the week of May 23.

Quagga-affected waters grow: AZGFD identifies Apache, Saguaro, Canyon lakes
Conclusive evidence of quagga mussels has recently been discovered at Canyon, Saguaro and Apache lakes, major recreational waters on the Tonto National Forest. Effective May 1, the Arizona Game and Fish Department will list these lakes as AIS-affected waters under AIS Directors Orders #2.

Arizona to receive $26 million in conservation funding
Arizona will receive nearly $26 million as part of a distribution of $1.1 billion in revenues generated by the Pittman-Robertson Wildlife Restoration and Dingell-Johnson Sport Fish Restoration Acts, the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service recently announced.
