McClellan Marks win at WWBT Oroville Presented by Evinrude
John McClellan of Oroville led the leaderboard on the second stop of the Wild West Bass Trail (WWBT) California Pro/Am division on Lake Oroville presented by Evinrude. Weighing in with a tournament total of 25.11, McClellan topped the field of nearly 200 competitors and took the first-place payout of the $100,000 awarded to the anglers this past weekend.

Oroville Hosts Wild West Bass Trail
The Wild West Bass Trail (WWBT) California Pro/Am circuit continues its season with its second stop at Lake Oroville. As many as 200 anglers will assemble on the Sierra Nevada foothills fishery on March 5-6 to vie for over $100,000 in payouts.

Baker and Kenyon runaway victors at Wild West Bass Trail Shasta Teams
The Wild West Bass Trail (WWBT) welcomed 110 boats to Lake Shasta on Feb. 27 for its second circuit stop of the California Teams division. Partners Sage Baker, of Shasta Lake and Jon Kenyon of Redding, Calif. bested the field with a seven-fish limit for 28.65, leaving their nearest competitors trailing by 9 lbs.

Cunningham’s claim $6,500 for victory in the Wild West Bass Trail Teams
The first circuit stop of the Wild West Bass Trail (WWBT) Arizona Teams event drew 91 boats to Lake Roosevelt on Feb. 13. The husband and wife team of Victor and Debra Cunningham of Tonto Basin took the trophy and a $6,500 payout with a winning weight of 16.04.

Over $138,000 in cash paid at the Wild West Bass Trail Shasta Pro/Am Presented by Super Clean
The first stop in the California Division of the Wild West Bass Trail (WWBT) brought over 250 anglers to the Super Clean Showdown on Lake Shasta this weekend, paying out in excess of $138,000 in cash. Zak Elrite wins first California event.

Wild West Bass Trail Visits the "State of Jefferson"
When the WWBT comes to town, we bring owners, staff and personnel from Indiana, Oklahoma, Colorado and Arizona. Some of these folks had never been to California - or they have only been to the Bay or Los Angeles areas. Upon seeing the signs for the "State of Jefferson" we had a little explaining to do.
