    USACE Wants to Recycle Your Christmas Tree as Fish Cover

    The Corps will use donated trees to create fish habitat in the lake by placing fish shelters made of bundles of Christmas trees. To donate your tree drop it off from Dec. 26 until Jan. 15 at Sandy Beach boat ramp in Heber Springs, Devils Fork Park's new high-water boat ramp in the Greers Ferry/Fairfield Bay area, or Choctaw Park's boat ramp in the Clinton area. Please do not block access to the ramps for those folks wanting to launch boats.
