Report: Went out rom 430 till 730 with my bud dan, Fished or a long time with no bites, hes never really been ishing or when he has it was with live bait and he didnt have much un. So I slaped a senko on his rod and edplained how to use it and why it works. Any how I was startin to eel bad that we hadnt cought much. So I decided to show him my honey hole. Well a ew o them on a nice long shore line near the bridge. I kept gettin lots o bites but kept missin most o my darn ish Changed my hook and senko. (EWG Gam Super line hook and a Clear and black lake senko) (I you need to know the number code ask cooch he can tell ya most likely) Any how tossed it out and as it sinks I detect the slight thump o a ish hiting the end o that luro carbon line. I reel down and set the hook Boom a ish is on But I couldnt be sure how big he was as he started swimin towards me he makes a run away rom me and my line gos nuts peeling o like mad so I hold him in place, tighten the drag and start to haul back. At this time I know that its a pretty good ish get to the surace and I say Damn thats a good ish I get it out and its a sturdy 5lb ish not too bad or the 6 inch senko on a color i never used caus it hadnt been productive. My riend is in awe o me standing across the channel on the other side o the shore. As Im tryin to ree my ine lil buddy he says "I got one" and he pulls in a nice lik 2-3lb ish. That totaly made his day.

Report: Ek- The water senko dom is talking about is deep back inbetween the irst cove and second cove rom the boat ramp going south You cant get into it because on one side there is a wall o tulies and on the deeper second cove there is a huge mat o laydown tulies blocking the way, Those huge spiders however are just garden orb spiders non venimous (or so Im told) and reluctant to leave thier web or home set o twigs. Now or my report that is a ew days old, WED 24th Got out there at about 6pm started o throwin a spinner a sammy and a jig a whole lot o nothin got one small guy o some boulders by the ramp on a spinner he came unbuttoned hal way up and threw the hook on a jump missed one on a senko urther down that shoreline ished o the island usualy a producing spot or me nothin, ended out ishing the rest o my time by the channel PT dock started throwing a pointer hooked up with a nice 2-2.5lb ish one more on nothing ater that..Tom

Report: I agree with out a doubt that loma, has a great top water bite.I grew up in Mira vista hills. The lake was in my backyard, and I always had very good trips on top.Last year I can rember taking out my loat as well, now I have a boat. But the weed line o the dam and basically the whole lake would lite it up on my snag proo rog.Pushing out great numbers o bass each trip. The dam with out a doubt casting to the rocks and jumping the rog into the water was a unreal type deal evey cast to every other cast would produce bass not small,AND MY FAMOUS STRIPES WILL BUST THE $#@! OUT OF TOPWATER.Keep ishing how ever we like but topwater has also been good to me here.FISH ON

Report: THIS REPORT IS FOR A REPORT I JUST READ ABOUT TOPWATER.SOME OF MY BEST DAYS I HAVE EVER HAD HAVE COME FROM USING TOPWATER.MY FAVORITE TOPWATER LURE TO USE AT CONTA LOMA IS THE POP R.I REMEMBER GOING OUT TO LOMA ONE SUMMER AFTERNOON.AND IT WAS VERY HOT I'D SAY AT LEASE 100 OUTSIDE.I FIRST TRYED THE COVE BY THE CHANNEL POINT DOCK I GOT A FEW BUT NO SIZE.I THEN WENT OVER TO THE OTHER SIDE OF THE LAKE.I SHOULD TELL YOU I WAS IN A FLOAT TUBE.I STARTED FISHING THE BACK DOCK AND YOU WOULD NOT BELIEVEWHAT I STARTED CATCHING ALMOST EVERT CAST I HAD A FISH OR HAD A BLOW UP I WENT FROM THE BACK DOCK INTO THE BACK COVE AND TO THE ROCK WALL NEAR THE DAM.I LANDED 39 BLACK BASS AND HAD A TOTAL OF 57 BLOW UPS I MISSED 18 OF THEM.NOW DONT GET ME WRONG NOT ALL THE FISH WERE 5 LBS BUT I,D SAY 10 WERE KEEPER THE BIGGEST GOING 4LBS.I WOULD CAS AS CLOSE TO THE SHOR AS I COULD.THERE ARE LOTS OF FLOATING TULES AND THATS WHAT THEY WERE AROUND.THE WATER RIGHT NOW AT LOMA IS THE SAME AS IT WAS WHEN I COUGHT ALL THOSE FISH.I BELIEVE TOPWATER CAN BE THE BEST LURE TO USE EVEN IN THE MIDDLE OF THE DAY WHEN ITS THE HOTTEST.THAT IS THE BEST BLACK BASS FISHING DAY I HAVE EVER HAD AT LOMA.I SHOULD ALSO SAY I COUGHT ALL THOSE FISH IN AND HOUR AND A HALF.LUCK YOU MIGHT SAY?MAYBE.BUT WOULD LUCK LET YOU DO THAT 3 MORE DAYS BACK TO BACK AFTER THAT BIG DAY.YOU USE THE RIGHT TOPWATER ON THE RIGHT BANK AT THE RIGHT TIME,YOU'LL EVEN HAVE THE WORST FISHERMAN CATCHING FISH.FROM THAT DAY ON I HAVE NEVER LEFT MY HOUSE WITHOUT A TOPWATER POP R IN MY TACKEL BOX ANYWHERE I GO.I HAVE EVEN COUGHT TWO 6LB BLACKIES IN THE DEAD OF WINTER ON POP R'S.YOU MIGHT WANT TO TRY THEM.THEY JUST MIGHT BLOW YOUR MIND.THE FISH_N_FOOL.

Report: Ok heres the scoop, Fished 12:00 till 9pm6 Bass all around 2lbs with a one dink exception, 2 on a White/white/black skirt and silver blades 2 on a blue backed rip bait 1 senko ish 1 dink on the spinner,And heres the Funny part. I cast out a Lucky Crat Pointer (aurora proneon color) Let it dive a bit then pause slow roll pause slow roll BAM big hit something hammers it and takes o I set the hook and it realy takes o, I begin to horse the ish up and it Really didnt eel much like a bass so I thought to my sel "trout" not too bad or dinner I get a lash o it beore it dives again and It didnt look like a trout the ight and shape o the ish kinda reminded me o a Pike so I thought OHH great some Smart guy dumped pike in here I get it up again and the thing rolls over then i realize its a good 3-4lb cat ish so I Finaly get the ugly sucker to shore i try to jiggle the hook out o his lips he starts to death roll again so I lip him and begin to walk to my bag to get my Foreceps to get the hook out. Hal way over he clamps down on my thumb and shakes I let go he gets some o my skin. At this point the sucker is dinner and im gunnaget my revenge on him, I grab the line and walk him over to where my bag is get the orecepts reach down to get the hook and he starts rolling again he some how gets the trebel out o his mouth lops a couple times as i try to get his tail and he slides o into the water, but that s ok I didnt eel like skining his tough hide any how. Who woulda thought a Cat on a Lucky crat,I had alot o un today Its hard to inda good consistant bite these days, Beore it was just rips or just senkos but now the ish are scattered just doing thier own thing,
    City: Pittsburg

Tips: Use the regular "Go to baits" Green Pumpkin senkos White spinners and Blue back rip baits, and or the cat ish use the lucky crat, Im sure this will also getsome bass, that cat was just in the right place at the wrong time and almost became my dinner or biting me.
