Hey,
I have to replace my 24 volt trolling motor and found a 36V one that I can afford. Someone has told me that i can use my starting battery and wire it along with the two 24 volt trolling motor to make 36V's. Anyone have any experience with this?

Re: Wiring for 36V trolling motor
I have a 1988 Ranger 373V with a Yamaha Pro V 150 and a 36 volt trolling motor. There is only room for three batteries.
I installed my 36 volt trolling motor this way 5 years ago and have not had a problem. You will need two jumpers.

Since I might have confused you, here is a link to see a drawing. Remember that you might have to change the trolling motor receptacle.

This is good news! Will make it easier on me as I have a 1987 Champion with little to no room for a 4th battery. Thanks for responding!
