I'm planning a trip to Santa Barbara and thought I would squeeze in some float tubing if I could. Any reccomendations for that area? I'm coming from San Jose.
Thank you,
_Gary
Where to fish Santa Barbara area?
Re: Where to fish Santa Barbara area?
If you mean floattubing in the SALT, then you have a couple of good spots in that area, the Harbor, Goleta Beach, and out in front of The resort Bacara (this is just north of S.B.)

If your looking for bass....
Get of at the Los Caneros off ramp hang a right, turn right and then your next right ( 1/4 block ) drive past the CHP head quarters and then make a left on the first available left. Welcome to Los Caneros lake ...maybe 30 acres...With florida strain
Oh yeah, there be whales in there!

Is Los Caneros fishable walking the bank? If not, anywhere else that's pretty fishable walking the bank in the Santa Barbara or Solvang area?

Thank you for the suggestions. I'll look into both salt and the lakes. Sounds like good times either way.
