We said the entry blank for next season's West Coast Bass Pro-Ams would be ready on line by Dec 1, it is up now on the westcoastbass.net web site. Just to be fair we have told so many people that have called and emailed us to wait until Dec 1... This was to give everyone an equal chance to be matched up in the first wave of pre-signs. We will take all entries postmarked on or before Dec 1 and shuffle them, then match you up. If you are looking for someone in a specific area to be matched with and indicate that on your entry we will do our best to match you. You will be emailed a confirmation or you can wait a few days after Dec 1 and call for your pre-sign partner info. Pros should make every effort to pre-fish with their pre-sign partner. As always pros and semi-pros signing up together with paid deposits or entries will be confirmed to fish the event. The flyers will also be available at most Nor-Cal tackle stores next week.
Also we will soon post a sample payback as requested.
We are starting with a 90% pro payback and a 70% Semi-pro payback. (80% overall) We know this will be popular with some and unpopular with others. But keep in mind the participation and sponsor support is what will increase the paybacks and prizes and the pros have much higher expenses. Although this is a terrible economy we are very encouraged by the interest and possible future sponsors. The TV exposure will help down the road.
The ball is in the court of you the fisherman. Your participation will predict the outcome. We promise to do the very best we can to offer the most we can in prizes, exposure, fun and camaraderie. The TV coverage is expensive but it will be an integral part of the West Coast Bass Pro-Ams. Once again feel free to email us with your concerns through the westcoastbass.net web site.
On another note... The Western Fisherman are so lucky to have this powerful forum and quality people like Tony and Lee and the others that make it happen. It is a powerful, unbiased forum so use it wisely. The addition of Mark Mendez can only support and ensure the future of westernbass.com. Although I do not know Mark I know he is a dedicated hard working guy that is offering west coast fisherman great tackle stores and events and has the resources to support the future of westernbass.com. Congratulations guys and thanks for giving us all a great place to share our experiences and thoughts.

Great news Larry. I look forward to reliving some of the "good ol' days". It will be nice to hit some of the local NoCal lakes again in the ProAm format. I haven't fished Oroville in a while and really look forward to Don Pedro. Can't wait.
