Great video Ken! It takes just a very small amount of time to see what "grass" looks like on the Structure Scan and the side Scan shows it so well. You are so correct. Not all the grass grows all the way to the surface and this is a great way to find those grass lines that those who fish only visible cover miss. Now I know how you beat the rest of us on the Delta all the time! Thanks for the video help!

Also, I noticed you have two 12 inch screens on a Bass Boat Technologies mount at the console of your Ranger. I got that mount also and love having all that screen surface available for what I need to see while fishing and looking for stuff to fish. I run one of my HDS 12's with a split screen of 1/2 Chart and 1/2 traditional sonar. The other HDS 12 has a split screen with 1/2 Structure Scan in the left and right view and the other 1/2 in the Structure Scan Down View. This is everything I need to see while idling around looking for those key places to fish like grass lines, depressions, sunken logs or boats on the bottom that guys who don't use this set up don't see. So Ken, just another advantage you have over the rest of us and I for one am going to keep copying your success! It's funny you don't mention all the things you use but just give us clues. We need to pay better attention to what you are telling us.

I always thought having 2 screens on a mount was overkill. But now that run it before it’s hard to go back.
Side scan is such a big deal always but especially early in the year when a good amount of the grass has died off from the winter.
