Favorite Topwater bait!
Favorite Topwater bait!
Wanting to beef up my arsenal of topwaters since it's that time of year for when bass start blowing them up.
Anyone have any reccomendations on their favorites, and how to fish them?
One of my favorites is the Iobee Frog: http://www.krakenbass.com/jackall-iobee-frog-review/
I've caught some solid fish on it this year!

Lobina Rico popper.

It would have to be a Reaction Innovations Vixen. If I had to pick one color, it would be baby bass.
One of the easiest to throw is a Deps Buzzjet; excellent bait around bluegill beds.

Whopper plopper is my confidence top water bait. But after fishing on Monday, it may very well be the vixen! I crushed em on that bait!

Deps Buzzjet for the Delta & Clear Lake (Bluegill), Buzzjet Jr. in Lime Ice for spots and smallies. Awesome bait that is more versatile than you might think.

My new go to topwater bait is the ABT Dirty Donkey, best big fish topwater bait that I've ever used.

1/2oz Persuader double buzzer, in the only color that matters.......black and red! Always has been since winning back to back pro-ams on it and best of all, the look on the face of them mother lode boys when a delta rat whacked em on McClure with it on an 8' flipping stick with 65lb braid! Priceless!

Delta Wood Bomber hand carved and painted baits rock.

As much as I like Poppers, Wakers, Spooks & Punkers, my all time favorite is still the Jitterbug. All three species of bass just eat that thing on top, when they'll not chase anything else.
