ABA dates for 2014 you don't want to miss!

Post by 1socalbass »

Save the Dates!

As many of you know American Bass and Lucas Oil have been teaming up and putting on some of the best showcase events in the West. We have three (3) events for the 2014 season. Past events have been announced very close to the event date which has made it difficult for some to fit the events into their schedule. We already have our 2014 dates and we want to give you the dates now so you can start planning your 2014 fishing season.
These are going to be limited entry events with priority registration offered to active American Bass Members and anglers that participated in previous Lucas Oil events.

The first event will be a Team Open, and will be at Lake Oroville with the competition days being February 7th & 8th, 2014.
The second event will be a Team Open, and will be at the California Delta, out of Russo’s Marina with the competition days being March 28th & 29th, 2014.

The third event will be at Lake Mead, the host hotel will be Sunset Station Hotel and Casino in Henderson NV. The event dates will be May 2-4, 2014. The event format is not yet finalized. Details will be published as soon as all details are worked out.

We are going to be announcing further details on these events and opening priority registration very soon. We had a waiting list at our last event so make sure you save the dates, get a partner, and sign up early, once we hit our number we will form a wait list to backfill any cancellations.

Americanbass.com has no information (as far as I can tell) on the three Lucas Oil Team Tournaments that have been discussed. I would really like to commit to fishing these three events, but I think it is pretty late in the game for there not to be a separate website or at least a place to register, considering that the first event is less than 3 months away. If anyone else is like me, you plan out your year and events, you might need to get sponsor approval for funds to pay entry fees. All these things need to be done in advance. If anyone from American Bass or Lucas Oil can clear this up or let us know the progress of these events, it would be much appreciated.

Andrew, If you are a member and have your E-Mail address on file with American Bass you should have gotten a mail or text on the details. So if you did not get this then you can call the office at ( 310 ) 376 - 1026 And Dave will direct you in right direction.

Thanks

Why is ABA making it so hard for us to give them our money? Where is a printable entry form, rules, entry fee amounts, and so on. I want to fish these and there is nothing out there for the general public to see about this tournament. Calling a # and getting a text is not good enough. I had heard they were updating there website and it would be ready in two weeks but that was over two months ago.I hardly ever come on here and I'm not trying to knock anybody I just really want to fish these and am frustrated with situation. If you have entry forms please pm me and I will give you my address.

This information is for the American Bass Lake Oroville Team Open Presented by Lucas Oil. We are very excited to bring you these events and look forward to great fishing and great payouts. All information on previous posts, flyers and emails is correct. The event dates are Friday February 7th & Saturday February 8th, 2014.
The priority registration period runs through November 22nd. Entry forms have been emailed to all members and all anglers that have participated in previous Lucas Oil events to enter during this priority registration period. If you are a member of American Bass and you have not received an email with a registration form, please call our main office to update your member record. We will email you an entry form. Entries are currently being accepted for teams that qualify for the priority registration. Please remember to contact us when you change emails or cell numbers so that we are able to communicate with you.
The Oroville event will open to general registration starting Saturday, November 23rd. We will post the entry form for all anglers to register on that date.
Membership in American Bass is required to compete in these tournaments. The incredible paybacks are 100% of entry fees and, of course, 100% of options.
