Everyone, It is with great sadness that I report that our Friend John Ed Wilder III passed away this afternoon. Please remember him in your Prayers,,, As Jay Poore said to me, "John is on the Big Pond now"

Was it two or three DECADES that Jay and John Ed were the face of LA team tournaments? Sad to hear. Proud to have known the Fishing Jeweler.

John Ed, to quote a line from Richard Boone (Paladin) in a Paul Newman movie Hombre, has some hard bark on him, but he was a really good person.
My condolences to his family, and to Jay Poore, his partner and friend.

John Ed could flat out find fish and catch 'em! Karyn and I will miss getting our butts beat on a regular basis by John Ed and Jay Poore. Our thoughts go out to his family and friends!
