I am so sad that I will not be able to make the show this year due to the fact that I am still out of town for work..
Having said that, can someone please record (via Flip camera or some other device) the 9:00am-Lowrance Electronics school/structure scan seminar..
I would really love to see that!
Anyone?

Roger 'Tunaman' Nelson might be coming down. He is the video king! Also folks if you have a HD Lowrance unit and want to learn all about it and the structure scan software, make sure you sign up for one of the Lowrance seminars asap. Rick G.

Looking forward to hearing Art Berry share on Diamond Valley. My friend was out with him on a guide trip. 85 stripers and 30 Largemouth...biggest largemouth going over 7 LBS......I don't think I caught that many bass in all of last year there :)

Plus we just confirmed that TV Celebrety Jimmy Houston will be the MC of the show on Saturday Nov. 20th! Thanks to the folks at US Reel and WON News! Nobody can keep the crowd in stitches like Jimmy. Watch next weeks edition of WON for the Bass-a-thon insert and vendor info. There will also be a special drawing each day for some hot-never relaeased in the USA- Evergreen baits and Rods! Thanks again to all our great vendors for 24 years of support. Rick G.

Rick,
The saying goes that imitation is the sincerest form of flattery.
If that's true, there are a lot of copy cat events paying homage to your Bass-A-Thon.
24 years. You must be doing something right.
Thanks again for a great event.

Rick,

I have a rather strange request. Due to the fact that I very recently, November 1st, got a total knee replacement, on my right knee this time, I'm not going to be able to attend this years Bass-a-thon, bummer.

Anyhow, I was wondering if you had any plans to video and sell the Lowrance seminars, particularly the Lowrance Electronics school/structure scan seminar? If so then I would be interested in purchasing the DVD.

Thanks!
Mike Holbrook

Look for the huge Bass-A-Thon segment coming out in Western Outdoor News!!! We'll be down there to film as much as we can of the show. Definitely going to get some camera time with everyone who has a table or booth and hopefully some select seminars as well.

See you all in Anaheim over the weekend!!!

Yes Tony, 22nd century is coming. Along with Rago, Ty Lure, Cl8 baits, Moreau swimbaits, Art Berry [some really cool stuff] and the world premier of Decoy swimbaits from Jason Scott, the originator of the Castaic Bait co. Jerry Rago will also be doing a swimbait workshop and that alone makes it worth the trip as he is one of the masters. Rick G.

Rick might make some extra money selling rain gear and umbrellas through the weekend. The predicted rain won't stop me from attending though!

Are we going to be able to park across the street in that huge, new, empty parking lot being built for the hospital ? That will be a nice plus this year, especially if it rains. Either way, it's going to be great, and if the rain comes down hard it's just an excuse to hang out longer.

Sure that is a great place to park. Just dont park in the lot that is directly to the east of us on Lapalma ave that says Penner Partitions. That guy will tow as he just is not a bass guy. Also there is plenty of parking in our other buildings lots off of Fountain Way which is the street just west of the store. Rick G.
