Humminbird FF/GPS combo

Getting ready to spring for new GPS/FF. Is side scan capability worth it for the typical striper fisherman? 10 inch or 8 inch screen?

Side scan is definately worth it, in my opinion.
The upgrade to side scan from the next lower unit isn't that much, when you consider how much you're spending to begin with, and the side scan/down scan features are amazing.
