This is all I have to say about this...

I met him on the water (River's end marina) not twenty minutes after he saw this and he immediately told me what he saw, the same as he put it here. My name and contact info are here if anyone needs it. It may be cleared up now but I believe he saw what he saw and if you knew this person, you would too. I'll stand with him and he is much nicer person than I. He made his point about what he saw and was clear not to attack personally. Not the same for Chad (d-bag comment, etc.). Nobody likes to be accused, however there were many ways to clear this up.

Let's all move on and move up. I'm done, I just won't let a friend get bashed.

I don't know Chad nor Kilroy and their integrity so I aint bashing or accusing either of them. However, ever watch the tv show "Cops"? You've heard it time and time again on that show, "I didn't do it", "It wasn't me", "That aint mine" and so on. Innocent until proven guilty as they say...I had a POS brother the chewed drugs, forged checks, stole from his mother (not to mention his brothers) and many, many other people and ALWAYS yelling the loudest how he didn't do it and how dare we accuse him. Made us all feel bad and starting to doubt ourselves. Not that Chad is like this, it just sound the same.

Stand with him if you want, but Kilroy was backpedaling in his reply. I know Chad, and Chad doesn't cheat; he doesn't have to. This is a case of Kilroy mistaking what he saw. Chad was helping the guy in the Champion who needed help to start his motor. That's what he should have done. So now he's an accused cheater and guilty until proven innocent. Chad was pretty hot over this, rightfully so, especially when he was doing the right thing!

Give everyone a break and let this die.

fact is there allot of water out there and we have to keep our eyes open to the possiblity of cheating (it DOES happen esp. now) and be aggressive about what we do if we see it. I commend the guy he stood up for all of the good guys. Even though he was mistaken (thankfully) he had the BALLS to stand up says something about what he saw.
I had my doubts because I figured it would be pretty stupid to do an exchange out in the open with another boat around.
Anyway I hope we have allot of kilroy and Chads out there watching out for the cheats. I know i have there backs also and wouldnt hesitate to confront someone if i thought that they were cheating. We have to self monitor our sport in many ways and that is just one of em.
