Seaguar Carbon Pro VS Invisix

Post by JeffJ »

What are you opinions on these two lines? I have been using Carbon pro for years now and love it but want to see the difference with Invisix. Better or worse?????????

I have used both but have now settled on Seaguar AbraziX. InvisiX is on sale at Tacklewarehouse right now.

CarbonPro is an earlier generation line and seems to be labeled a bit higher in break strength per diameter when compared to InvisX. It's also stiffer.

InvisX is pretty limp for a 100% fluoro line but also has little more stretch--that's probably the compromise in its formulation to make it limper. Very strong stuff.

Both are good.

I started using Invisx about six months ago. It is very limp line but I was using it in 10 and 12 lb., for cranking and dragging baits. Thusfar I think it's one of the best FC lines I've ever used. It comes off the spool great and is highly resistant to nicks and abrasion.

Thanks guys, just wanst sure how it handled. I mainly want it for spinning reels so needs to be limp. Going to order a bulk spool of 8lb today.
