Warning don't launch at Red Bud Toxic Spill

Post by Bigbassmike »

I had heard all the cute Turtle poop stories about the Red Bud launch ramp so I figured how bad could it be. It was the worst stink I have ever smelled. I launched my buddy and he started to gag and almost threw up all over the boat. The smell and crap is twenty feet thick around the ramp and it is the worst I have ever seen in 25 years of fishing this lake. I went to the car wash after and tried to clean it off then I went fishing out of another ramp the next day and my boat still stinks so bad I can't hardly go into my garage. Warning do not launch in that stuff if you want to keep your boat smelling and looking good.

took a few days to get the smell out of my boat as well. This is not a toxic spill though, just a bad algae bloom.
