Chris Jones is an awesome guy. Best TD I have experienced. I heard some rumors about his absence. But I think he ruptured his spline as well.

This is the email I received from FLW........

Thank you for the email. Chris is now out of the hospital and is recovering at home. He didn't have an accident he just had some other medical issues going on. The last update we received that he is doing a lot better. Thank you for your concern we appreciate your thoughtfulness.

ruptured spleen, plus some infection problems along with that, is what you've been hearing about. The last report I got was yesterday that he was doing much better and could be back in the office soon. All we can do is pray for him and his family right now. For those of you who don't know Chris, he is by far the best tournament director the west or any other place for that matter has ever known, but more importantly, he acts as our pastor while we are on the road, and a true ambassador for the sport on the West coast. If Chris were unable to return it would be a terrible loss for the West.

Prayers sent,

Chris, best wishes to you and your family with a speedy recovery. I know alot of people look up to and respect you(including myself), one can only hope to be as good a director and example to others as you are.
Get well soon......
