Gary Dobyns Update

Post by kb »

Just spoke with Gary's wife Kathy and he is still in the hospital. Gary has a compound fracture of his back with a great deal of bruising and tissue damage. He will NOT need surgery but it will take some time for recovery.

Gary is still in alot of pain and pretty sedated. He is bruised pretty bad on his arm.

He is aware of all the well wishes from across the country and appreciates it.

He keeps telling me "damn dude I was just figuring out how to catch them pretty good down there too"

WOW----compound fracture of the back?

We are all hoping for a speedy recovery, and minimal pain. Its terrible news to see someone get hurt like this, but it really could have been a lot worse.

Get well soon

That is great news that no surgery is required..No doubt Gary is in pain, but you gotta be alive to feel pain..The pain will subside, it is just gonna take time..Let Gary know we all have in our thoughts and prayers..And let the news keep being on the positive side..

Thanks Kent..

Not positive on this just thought that Kent might have meant to say compression fracture. Either way let Gary know that he is in mine and my families prayers, thanks for the update Kent.

Don't know him personally, but he always seems like a standup guy. I'll likewise pray for a speedy recovery.

"Gary has a compound fracture of his back......... "

Damn KB - brutal........ can't even begin to figure out that injury or how he got himself righted and to help. Of course, he's Gary Dobyns and I swear the man could pull a 3 1/2 pound spotty out of a bathtub full of gin-clear water.

Hope he's through it and recovering soon.

I'm told donuts, ice creme, and Vicadin make for a great meal........ BUT, can lead to excess weight gain and serious dependency issues over time.

Get well GD!

Regards,

Thanks for the update KB. It's ahrd to keep up with things here in the frozen North -- you know, Wyoming.

Gary, get well soon. You still have to come to Wyoming for a little hunting.

God Bless

KB,
Thanks for the update and please continue to send Gary our best wishes.

I am in China right now, so with his wife's permission, i could surely bring back a few Asian girls for "special massage".

Anything to get him well again!

Quick recovery Gary.
