clearlake question?

Hello all----

Some friends and I are heading to Clearlake at the end of Feb. I have never fished with swimbaits before. I was wondering if you guys had any suggestions that would help out a soon to be "Swimbaiter".. Also what other bite might be on in late Feb. Thanks ahead of time for your help!

Heya rip WHAT EVER YOU DO DONT THROW A CRANKBAIT WHILE YOUR THERE! Or for that matter a ripbait....or.....well Clear lake justanything! It should be a great bite then and about anything you tie on will work! Good luck-let us know how you do cuz I'll be up there a month later! Tight lines-
