You should contact the manufacturer of your motor and get what they suggest as far as the CCA and MCA required for that motor and not void any of the warrantee.

I'll assume that you are asking about a complete battery set up for both your cranking/electronics and for your 36V trolling motor.

For the cranking battery I attached a picture for the 2025 Mercury operation manual. For a 250 PRO XS in US it says 12V AGM with a minimum Marine Cranking Amp of 800 and a reserve capacity of 135 RC25 rating.

There is a misconception that you cannot crank with lithium and that is not true. There are many people using lithium for cranking and electronics.

I personally use 2 group 31 AGM cranking batteries to crank and power my electronics.

For your 36V trolling motor There are multiple configurations you can go with. Three 12V batteries wired in series to make 36V. A single 36V lithium battery, two 36V batteries wired in parallel.

Remember if you choose to do a single 36V battery you will need a 36V charger to charge that battery. The only on board charging system that charges 12V, 24V, and 36V systems is a power Pole Charge. It also charges all different chemistries.

If you go 3 12v batteries for your trolling motor you most likely can use your current on board charger if it is optimized for lithium.

Fishermans warehouse has a US based (California) Bioenno 12V 80AH lithium battery on sale. 20 year warranty backed by a brick and mortar retailer.

If you have more questions fire away. Good luck and congratulations on your new boat.

I use the Ionic 125 ah for my starter/electronics battery & 3 50ah’s for my trolling motor. I also have the Ionic 4bank lithium charger as well. I’ve had the setup for 2 years & have had no problems. I got them from Drewcraft so you might look at their website. Drew is super helpful if you contact him with any questions you may have. This is just an option for you. Btw I run a 250 ProXS 4 stroke & Minnkota 36v Ultrex.
