WWN withdrawals.......but have no fear Western Bass Staff is here

Post by Fast Eddie »

The tremors have subsided (wait! maybe they're just old age tremors :D ) Anyway I've survived the first WWN without the WWN. But low and behold I see Western Bass staff put a question to the FFS topic, but because I believe the question should stand on its own, Here goes.
Would banning FFS sway your decision to fish a tournament circuit? *Thank You WB staff.
Well guys, inquiring minds want to know.

FE would it sway yours? Delta guys probably have a whole different take on this question. OR do they?

It could, just like the Pro Am BAM decision for not shared weight. Pros and Cons both ways, but being old and fishing the old WCB 2-4-1s and not being my friend Gary Haraguchi, you won't see me fish a BAM Pro Am tournament I have the original Active Target and didn't use it much on the Delta, but now that I'm going to be fishing lakes, we'll see. Used it last year at Shasta in Oct. and it worked on small fish. As I said in my other post, Let's ban "spot lock", Power Poles, Talons and Raptors as they allow anglers to decimate the spawn. Where does it stop.
So as I said, It could, but I'm not Elite or BPT so it doesn't really matter.

PS BTW I'll watch fishing no matter what. From the days of Gadabout Gaddis to John Fox, streams, rivers, or ponds and lakes, there are a certain number of homebound anglers who dream of what was and what could still be.

Hey Eddie, do you remember The Great American Outdoors with Ron Shearer? I’m showing my age now!
