WTB 16 foot ± Tracker

Post by fishit »

I am looking for a 16 foot Tracker or similar boat. Prefer a 4 stroke and I pilot bow mount.
Thanks and tight lines!

A 16' Tracker isn't much of a boat. Basically a 16' jon boat cool a decal down each side of the boat. Because they say Tracker guys think they're worth twice then what they actually are.
A 16' modified V-hull in whatever brand would be a better choice then a 16' Tracker.
Look for a 17' plus in whatever brand because that seems to be the size these manufacturers turn these flat bottom boats into decent fishing boats. The heavier it is the better its going to ride and fish.

Facebook marketplace is the best place to look. You just have to wait for one to come up at a decent price and jump on it. Boats aren't selling right now so there will eventually be some that come up for cheap. If you're looking for one with a 4 stroke and a fancy trolling motor you will waiting a long time unless you pony up the cash for a newer boat. Basically $8K-$12K for that or $2K-$5K for a 2 stroke.
