"Power Hours" in effect for UFC9
The “Power Hours" - on the California Delta, are described by those that know, as being the time (usually from 4-7pm), when water temps begin to drop, and shade pockets start to form along the levies and tulle points, as the sun starts its setting cycle.
The unfortunate part, is that these “Power Hours” are well past the times the first flights of an event are usually due in, making the incredible bite contained within those hours, just another item to add to an angler’s “wish list”.
At the start of the "Power hours" Angelo Alorro found this UFC fish hidden deep in the matted grass
But for the 2023 Ultimate Frog Challenge event (UFC9) however, these “Power Hours” will not be on anyone's “wish list”, but will be a big part of this year’s exciting “Frogs Only” event.
To this end, for the first day of UFC9 competition, blast-off will be at 12:30pm, and the first weigh-in will be at 6:30pm, giving every team a better opportunity at more active - and bigger fish!
The “Power Hours” are in affect for UFC9....so let’s get ready to rumble boyz and girlz......
And as always.... may the BEST frog win!
