I cant believe I am asking this question about Clear Lake

But... at what point is there concern regarding the water level being too high and potentially restricted access or speed restrictions

I think it's at 9.5 Rumsey that it happens.

Here is a pic from 5th St launch two days ago. Got a lot of rain in the last couple of days. Lake should keep filling, possibly reaching flood level. I don’t think they can release water fast enough.

I just watched Ross England's report on Clear Lake Status and I tend to agree. While the weather is still unsettled we are out of the woods on Clear Lake. They are still dumping water as is visible on the Rumsey gauge numbers but we are left with the perfect storms results. It's full.

Generally 9-12 foot above Rumsey is flood stage. Creeks we’re still going strong yesterday. Possibly 5mph around homes coming
