fished it a few times as a non boater like 6 years ago.
I'll be down from Washington end of April with the boat.
Where should I start looking?
What should I expect?

Re: First time to Delta end April
Bring frogs and flipping gear (light and heavy) should do the trick. It should be wide open. Northern delta (walnut grove area) is a lot of wood and rock. The further south you go the grass and tullies come into play. The launches on the delta loop (pirates lair and b&w) have campsite/cabin and are in the middle so you could go either way with out running to long of a ways. If you search the recent post there’s a guy breaking down the delta and is doing a great job. I don’t remember the name, but great info on how to break down the delta. Good luck
