In no particular order, here are the top baits in terms of sales for anglers in Northern Idaho and Eastern Washington.

Roboworm Straight tail. This is no surprise to see on the list. If you have ever checked out Tackle Warehouse and their "Top Sellers" page, Robos are always there. When it comes to colors, Aaron's Magic, Oxblood Light Red Flake and all of the regulars sold well, but Prizm Perch was the top color.
Another popular bait in our area is anything from Keitech. The Swing Impact FAT 4.8 in Smallmouth Magic was hard to keep on the shelves at Becker's. It works great around here.
The swimjig bite was excellent this year and a black and blue Dirty Jigs swimjig was tops in terms of sales. Other colors came close, but the old faithful black and blue was Blake's choice.
If you can, ask your local store what sells best. It helps to see what is working and what people are using. I also like to see what is out of stock and where the empty pegs are. This is another clue to what I should try.
