Dear Fellow Anglers,

Since this has been seen and now talked about we would like to let everyone in on what has been going on. Friend and fellow angler Mark Taylor and I have been working vigorously on a new product to help fisherman catch more fish when using a visual approach. We have been doing some recent field testing in conjunction with the Roboworm pro staff to provide a product that is not only easy to use but has proven results. Rest assured this is not just a dish soap or laundry detergent. It is a special highly concentrated blend that is safe, non-toxic and most importantly biodegradable. The product will help you see more bedding and cruising fish as well as sub-surface structure. What is true is that the product will reduce surface ripples and reduce the problem of surface pollen. it actually works. Kerr and I used some that was given to him to try out. We used it at havasu fun fishing and i was kinda shocked that it worked. I learned something new.

I think it has to do with surface tension. Dust some flour into a bowl of water, and then put a drop of detergent/water solution in the middle, and watch it chase the flour to the sides.

As long as the dish soap does not contain phosphorus then its fine; it it does have phosphorus it has negative effects to the water and its critters.

Same here. I saw at least two anglers with bright plastic squirt guns on the deck but didn't know why. Now I do.

Yep... as Mark said it breaks the surface tension, so any particles on the surface move away and you can see more clearly. Not necessary if the water is clear enough for you to see well, but for those times you're in the backwaters/slack waters and have a lot of surface clutter it will magically clear it out.

We also use it to keep placer (and smaller) gold from catching the surface tension and flowing out the top of the pan.
