The Product Flex-Seal

Post by DeltaBassBuster »

Has any one used Flex-Seal before? Were you happy with the result? Did you use Flex-Seal on a aluminum boat? Were you happy with the result? I've been watching several Youtube videos and wondering if it's worth the try. If used as a sealer can Flex-Seal be painted over (a latex based paint possibly)?

Flex Seal in a can is the same as Line-X the truck bed and under coat spray materials! If you were going to seal up an aluminum boat from the inside it will probably work great. The only issues I could think of is if you spray large areas inside a boat that it can probably get pretty hot on a bright sunny day!
Yes I have used it and it is a good product for sealing gutters and flashings on your roof.

I have used flex seal on a 14 ' aluminum up at my ranch. Boat is old and worn down so I bought some to try out on a few small leaks. It works fantastic!! I have learned to spray a little on each spot at a time, wait an hour then reapply. Takes 24 hours to fully dry.
