Strike King's King Kong swimbaits

Post by Hitman »

Anyone try them yet? THey look like a great wake bait...I was flipp'n thru the channels yesterday and came across a show called "Pro Team Journal". They were fishing the King Kong and a similar but smaller lure.

Have not seen them in tackle shops yet....

They look like they will work good for a wake bait.

I seen them at fishermans wharehouse in manteca, they may also have them in the other branches of fishermans wharehouse. They work well but like any of those type baits you have to be patient and stick it out for minimal but usually good bites! good luck.

I have one of those in the shad color. I haven't thrown it much, but it works pretty well from what I can see. I don't know if the price fits the bait or vice versa, as it was given to me, but then again, what do I know?

I am pretty new to swimbaits, so if anyone has used this bait, please share some info on where/how to use it.
