Re: SPINNERBAITS COLORS
Nichols 1/2oz Chartreuse, with Chartreuse blades ,Chartreuse trailer, Chartreuse trailer hook, with a little chartreuse garlic dip on it to make sure it has enough CHARTREUSE on it. Works well on the delta for both LM & Stripers, Bass at Clear lake love it around shallow wood. It even works at Pedro & Tullock in the winter Try throwing it around the docks in feb. water temp in the 40,s and watch the fish come from 20 to 30 feet away to slam it. You cannot go wrong with Nichols & Chartreuse

Re: SPINNERBAITS COLORS
as hank parker said you'all cant go wrong if its white/ chartuse.
thats my basic color over all. the differance is the blades.
for the last 2 weeks a 4 !/2 willow has been kicking butt.
there are a lot of shad and the american shad are running down stream now, and the better fish seem to want a bigger shad shaped blade.
but for the last 5 years ive been kicking it with a dacota blade.
after the american shad get thru running im going back to it.
color doesnt matter as much as the blades.

Re: SPINNERBAITS COLORS
The BEST color? Does that mean the one and only color which is the most versatile under all water clarity conditions, lighting conditions, time of year, seasonal patterns.. the one color which is most consistant at producing the BIG bite or the one which is most consitent at producing numbers of bites??? hhhmmmm That's a big question you got there.
Either solid white or a white/chart bait with gold blades (most of the time... some times the little voice in my head tells me they want silver, sometimes painted too) would do it for me. Mix in a black/red bait or a chart/blue bait and you've got most everything covered... someone always has a less common color they swear by but weather yer at the Delta or Clear lake, there still bass just like anywhere else.

Chartruese/White with same colors on willow blades. I prefer titanium and 1/2 or 3/4 oz. I had a hard time finding 3/4 oz in the stores around Sac. this year. I also like all red for the delta at times.
