SEAT COVERS?

Post by fishinman »

I HAVE A 1998 RANGER WITH BUCKET SEATS. BOTH ARE TORN DUE TO AGE AND HOOKS. ARE THERE ANY COVERS MADE TO SLIP OVER INEXPENSIVELY . NEW SEATS OR SKINS ARE $300-$500 A PIECE AND I WOULD PREFER A CHEAP ALTERNATIVE JUST TO COVER THEM. ANY IDEAS?

FIND SOMEONE WHO CAN SEW. I HAVE A FRIEND WHO USED BIG
TOWELS AND ADDED ELASTIC AROUND THE EDGES. THEN PUY LONG
PIECES OF VELCRO TO SECURE TO THE BACK OF SEAT. HOPE THIS HELPS. TAKE THEM OFF WHEN HAULING.

I bought some automotive high back bucket seat covers from autozone for around $20.00. The ones I purchased are cloth but there are some vinyl and faux leather models for a few more bucks. They fit the seats in '99 Triton pretty well.
