Hydro Tec, box up the dressed powerhead, ship to them, they can dyno test it after rebuild and have it ready to install, can also modify with phase kit for more hp.

Kenji, If you have a brass, or lead hammer, you can reinstall the nut untill it is flush with the end of the shaft threads. Then as you are putting upwards pressure on the wheel by pulling on it , or pushing up with your knees, give it a good straight hit on the end of the shaft. If you have a buddy...

Mike,
The exact replacement gearcase was no longer available for Mark P.'s motor.
Mercury provided me with a superseded Torquemaster style gearcase with nose and conventionaly located water pickups. I think it also is a 1.75:1 gear ratio.

Re: constant alarm on 1988 200hp yamaha
Constant alarm is normaly due to an overheat condition. If at idle speeds, it may have a weak impeller or thermostats may be stuck or blocked. You should look into the cooling system, to positively eliminate the chance of overheating and powerhead damage. With your oil tank low, you will need to als...

The first thing I think you should do is to take it to a Shop that can check the motors' output to make sure that all adjustments and parameters are correct. Once you know that it is running it's best then you can work on the set up. Do not expect all props of the same diameter and pitch, even by th...

20 lb. Powerpro with a short fluoro. leader. for my drop shot rod.
That has eliminated 99% of my line twist problems that were regular!

If your'e looking for lead to melt, check the local tire and wheel shops. They usually throw the used weights into 5 gal. buckets, and if you buy tires from the place they sometimes will give it away. 100 lbs. a bucket? Plumbing shops also sometimes have scrap.
