The funny thing is some dealers are not telling people about it until it's too late and the damage is done. Change out the grey lines and replace it with the new updated line, even a year old boat may have the old lines on it. :shock:

What is the best thing to use for a clear coat on the punker. The clear coat has chipped off one of my baits and I would like to seal it back up so it does not swell.

I know knowbody wants to give up there hot spots but I would like to catch some stripers with some size. Are they in Big Break, Sherman, or Franks? I have caught dinks all over the delta but not sure how far the bigger ones have moved in. All I ever catch are the little guys from 10"-18" I...

Justin I am not trying to bitch just saying there still was some poor handleing by some. Many just dropped the whole bag in the livewell without adding water to the bag. Overall it was much better than last year.

Yes it was run better than last year. I would have liked to seen a release boat used. There was still a lot of poor fish handling after the scales, many boats never put water back in the bags to transport them back to the lake. :shock: :shock:

If I was going to guess I would say Bidwell. The spillway only had one lane last weekend and I don't think the water has come up enough to open all lanes yet. Bidwell was ok except for the parking lot is a big mud hole. I guess we will have to sit back and wait for the boss to decide....

Roger I hope the water stays up for you and the turnouts are better. Hate to hear guys whine about not being able to run balls out. I have always caught more fish running 60+ around the lake. :lol: Nobody catches fish within a quarter mile of a ramp anyway, like on this years Bass Classic.

Good question, Every ranger I have talked to says they will enforce the 5mph. Has anyone got a ticket yet on folsom? I was out there today and thought the speed limit was lifted. I would say just about every boat I saw was going over the 5mph. :roll:

Yes that is old, I pulled the old Loran C off my saltwater boat about 12 years ago. There was talk then about turning off the towers. Was a good unit back in the day, lost a few good spots when I made the change. Loran and GPS numbers are different, not by much but they are.

Is there somewhere to find info on what ramps are in at what water levels? Where does the water level need to be for the bidwell ramp to be open? the spillway mud hole works but it would be nice to have some concrete again.

Ok, What do you wear that does not tear up the boat carpet. I have my Rocky's and other boots but I think the carpet will show some serious wear real quick. Anyone know of some cold weather footwear without the offroad traction.

I don't want to stir the pot here but a lot of of the teams fishing the FPT this weekend have one thing on their mind and its not a belly-up fish. I strongly agree with fizzing your fish ASAP and caring for them so we have the chance at them another day. All that can be done is spreading the word.

I just picked up a new CUTCO knife and I will say it is a pretty sweet knife. Not a very cheap knife but the service they give makes up for it.
