Do Not Reply: High School FPT Boater
Hi, My name is Gerik, I am a high school tournament angler and I fish the Future Pro Tour events, I was wondering if there is anyone out there who was planning on fishing the FPT Delta on June 1st - 2nd, and would consider taking a high school angler with them to fish off their boat. The event is fr...

Re: Braid to mono knot on a spinning reel
Straight braid is good to me when using the higher pound tests like 40-65 but when tying knots with 15lb-20lb if you are not careful you will cut your hands up when you pull your knot together.

Re: Help Wanted: Striper Casting Reel
It might not be perfect for fishing Jerkbaits, but as an all around striper setup a ton of guys go with the Diawa Lexa 300 w/ 40lb Braid. That's what I'd go with but thats just me.

Re: Braid to mono knot on a spinning reel
I'm no expert, but I have almost always used the alberto knot. And contrary to what many on this forum say I Keep my leaders long. I make sure my knot is as tight as it will go and then cut the tag end of my flouro as close to the knot as possible. From there I reel on 18'-25' of leader and when I d...

***SOLD*** 2 Ultraskiff 360 portable boats!
These are nearly brand new! Great boats for going on small lakes, ponds, rivers, creeks, and even the ocean! We bought these in may for $1600 a piece and have used them twice since then. Getting rid of them because we don't have enough time to use them. Asking $1200 per boat or $2200 for both boats....
