If you are willing to go with a used rod try to find a G Loomis CBR 845 or 847 with the split handle. Best crank rod I have used and new they ran around $210 so used should run no more than about $150. I have not used the E6X Loomis so I cannot recommend it one way or the other.

I have a couple of Lowrance units and know that some products are NOT to be used to clean the screens. Which products are usable for removing fingerprints and water spots without removing the coating on the screens?

Take off the cap of reservoir on the engine. Turn the motor on and let the reservoir fill up to full before replacing the cap. Shut down and when you start back up the light should not be lit. If that does not work you may have a cracked oil line to replace.
