Amps is not the issue,unless your tripping the breakers? The amp rating on the breaker(s) protects the circuit. In other words, if your drawing to many amps,the breaker(s) will trip. (in your case, 10amps per outlet). Since it's not tripping, it's not the amps. Volts is what you need to determine......

I know that the MS Slammer has a rod that is dedicated to it all year long. Wakebait type baits are a key for me throughout the year. So in short YES, I have cought more swimbait fish from the surface then from the deep divers..... I too would start with a slammer. A simple swimbait with big reward...

My friend works for the park service at Niguel. He said the 30+ floaters he saw were sucked up 2-3 pound fish. IMO Lag. Niguel needs more than just oxygen and water.

I hit a submerged rock at Folsom last week and Broke the skeg off my lower unit ( 3 - 4k in damages). It's pretty hairy right now with the low water level.
