If you have really old lines, then it probably would be best to change them, but regardless, start using and using with each fillup the Stabil Marine additive, which stops damage from the Ethynol in our fuel. And that is the blue Stabil. Between the two, new lines and additive, you will just about 1...

For what it is worth, I have four rods built by Beach.. They are my favorite rods, amongst some of the other name brand rods I have and use. two are baitcasters and two are spin/drop shot. You can not go wrong with his rods built to your wants and needs. Bill K

It is not just the state that needs to have us withhold our tax money. The Federal Gov is just as bad, or worse. If for just one year, all taxpayers withheld paying the state and Fed income tax, maybe they would listen to the people. But that will never happen.. People will just not unite in one big...

If it is not to large a split, etc. I have used the liquid electric tape/dip that you can buy at your local hardware store. Put a coat on outside and inside area and let it set up. Bill K

Sounds like you have a grounding out cable/wire somewhere. Putting new cables on may stop the problem and you will probably find where it is grounding out when you find the bare spot/burn area contact. Bill K

Just a guess, but people make mistakes with heating and it was pretty cold. Especially when you only have electricity for heating. I like 4 to 8 lb flouroclear by P-Line. Depending on what I am fishing. Of late, however, I have been spooling with 8lb Fireline Crystal as my main line, then adding a 6 ft flouro leader. That is working super, no more fluffing off the reel and it has zero memory. Bill K

I for one, say, disqualify them for unsportsmanship conduct.If they can not help another boater, especially one in the same tournament, then they need to be tossed out. Plain and simple. I believe there are such rules, if not then there should damn well be. Bill K

Wally World carries Quicksilver Premium Plus (same stuff, just labeled under the Quicksilver brand for sale at non-marine retailers) if you need it in a pinch. Actually it is the same oil, Just Mercury (for what ever reason or market value) went back to thier old Quick Silver logo/brand/motif a few...
