I completely recommend Greg at C&C Modesto. I’ve had my boat serviced there many times. He does a great job and gets things done right. I wouldn’t recommend Newcastle C&C (just my opinion). Wasn’t very happy the times I went there. Greg at Modesto will have you in and out in no time and have...

Re: Dedicated 7" senko rod - Dobyns DX 744C SH or Shimano Expride EXC72HB or ???
My favorite 7 inch senko Rod is the Dobyns champion 764c, hands down. With that being said, I mostly use it on the California Delta fishing around heavy cover. I use it with 20 lb floro and my drag is pretty much buttoned. 764c has a lot of uses, big senko being my favorite. To me the 744c is more o...

He was selling T shirts and hats at the Classic that said “FBD” for fish boat docks or what some thought it meant “F*#% Boyd Duckett”. Apparently MLF got upset and suspended him. You can find more details online.

10 yr warranty zero shipping problems. Friend just had to send one back for reflashing as charge wasn’t going 100 percent. They supplied shipping label and sent battery back fixed and done expeditiously. Contact Drewcraft.com

Those look super cool. If I lived in TX I would get one. I live in California. What do you think Gavin Newsom would want to put on a special license plate for us outdoors people? With many fisherman changing over to lithium systems, you should be able to get a deal on a dual pro battery charger. Check the WB classifieds. I’ve seen them up for sale cheap.

Here is a pic from 5th St launch two days ago. Got a lot of rain in the last couple of days. Lake should keep filling, possibly reaching flood level. I don’t think they can release water fast enough.

Re: A Final Fiasco for the last Windy Wednesday Nighter (long)
Damn bro you had some bad luck. I’ve seen people at the ramp trying to load boats with trim gone bad. Really tough to do. One thing you can do to stack things in your favor is to make two full extra sets of keys. One stays in the truck and one stays at home. I’ve done the same thing and lost my boat...

Re: Lowrance ghost question
I don’t think they make aftermarket props for the ghost. Look into getting the delta precision products weed cutter for your tm. They are made by Andy Doudna. That is the best solution I’ve found for avoiding weeds loading up. Definitely on the expensive side, but 100 percent works. AAE90DE5-71EB-49...

Fish your local water and leave Clearlake for the people that can tolerate the shithole. There are already too many bass fishermen at Clearlake ...

I second the recommendation on the 805 Dobyns Extreme. I have one and love it. It’s lighter than the champion version and will lessen the fatigue factor if you are punching all day. I use it most when punching 1 1/4 oz and heavier. If I’m punching lighter weights I run the Dobyns Extreme 795 flip pu...

Prob better to leave an extra set of truck keys securely stashed in your boat rather than a hide a key on your truck. I was out running the boat yesterday and went to the mouth of false river. They were in the process of taking down the salinity barrier. There was a barge with a crane at work. 3/4 of it was deconstructed.
