the flippn hooks are great. every hookset is buried. through the freakn skull. even on the bites where we were caught off guard and got a poor hookset... buried....

what i've found is the rubber one is SSSLLLOOOOWWW in the water. I pull the fur off and replace with fine rubber. i found they and the mini spro have the best hookup ratio. i tried the ish phat frog but all 3 i bought so far sink like a rock. im not bashing snagproff cuz i still buy and believe in their products

Yeah the Santa Clara County lake knotzis suck royaly. My pb is from Coyote but i hardly even fish the lakes round here. Can't get on the water till after 8 am. At times u gotta make an apointment at Anderson to launch... list goes on and on. If headn out in the boat, pretty much headed to the Delta....

know how to back a trailer, have ur boat ready, know how to quickly put ur boat on the trailer, don't park on the ramp, don't sit in the way trying to choke the motor enough to get it going. pull out with the trolling motor then do that, don't tie up in everyones way.... basically handle ur chit qui...

i have family that fishes the great lakes and encounter big water all the time. they run 5 blade props a lot of the time to battle the conditions. they are also using rediculously long trolling motor shafts and wind socks too.
