Re: San Jose Bass Fishing Clubs
I have enjoyed fishing with the Bass Classics of Santa Clara Valley for 26 years now and it has allways been a great group of guys. We have members of all ages and styles of fishing from new guys just learning to seasoned pros. I think its one of the best places to get started and learn faster by fi...

Re: places to stay near lake nacimiento?
I usually stay at the trailers they have at Nacimiento in January they have the off season rates and its two nights for the price of one. about 130.00 if I remember correctly just give them a call and ask about the rates for that time of year. Also they have some really nice rooms also but you have ...

Warning don't launch at Red Bud Toxic Spill
I had heard all the cute Turtle poop stories about the Red Bud launch ramp so I figured how bad could it be. It was the worst stink I have ever smelled. I launched my buddy and he started to gag and almost threw up all over the boat. The smell and crap is twenty feet thick around the ramp and it is ...

Re: night fishing
I usually use clamp on Mechanics lights with 25w or 50w 12 volt white light bulbs and I cut off the house plug and add clamps for the battery. Also you should cover the round silver mechanics light housing with clear plastic so water does not splash up on the hot bulbs and break them. On dark nights...

Re: when to replace leaf springs
I have a 1984 Ranger 372v with a lot of miles on it. I have used the boat every month since it was new. I had to replace my leaf springs several years ago. They did not break but several of my fellow bass club members did have thiers break with only 5-8 years on them so I got worried. The problem wi...

Re: All Delta pipes and pumps off limits 150 yards
Thanks for all of the responses I thought the guy was pulling my leg with the laser alarm system however he did not look like a meth head or something. It sounded like he was private security in charge of protecting the pipes and farm equipment. He wore his pistol on his belt like a cop but he had n...

All Delta pipes and pumps off limits 150 yards
I had a guy with a gun this weekend tell me that all of the pipes and pumps have laser alarms to warn homeland security if you go near them. Also he said that it is posted on the pumps that you can't get within 150 yards of the pipes. If you do the alarm let them know and they send out a guy to chec...

Re: What fuel you runnin in 2 stroke ?
I have a 1984 Ranger 372v with a 150 hp black Max fuel injected engine. I have been running premium gas because that is what they recommended when I bought the boat. I did have to have the engine rebuilt in 1989 because I sucked up a ring and had a bad piston but I have not had any problems since th...

Re: Leaf Spring Replacement
I did not replace my leaf springs on my own but I made the mistake of upgrading to the next bigger size and it raised my boat trailer up two inches higher so it was harder to reach into the compartments and the bolts they used to hold the axle on were to big and they almost touch on rough roads. So ...
