I have up for sale, a Curado 51E and a Chronarch 101 BPV. Both have been worked on by Dan Isaac, of Reel-Ex fame, who calls them both a 10 (thanks, Dan). take a look at the phenix m1 mx-ur80mh swimbait rod. i have not tried this rod yet but vince borges, the local phenix rep, suggested this one to me. i believe the hook keeper is the type that you are looking for. also, these rods have nano resins and are very, very, very difficult to break. price is...

i have a phenix ks 715 that i use for dragging jigs but those aren't readily available. i would recommend the recon 715 in its place.

i use my daiwa 8' steez for flipping jigs.

i don't fish much. probably 15 - 20 times a year. i have power pro, samurai and 832 on my reels. i have as yet to change out any of it. the one that has been on the longest has probably been on there five years.

at pedro last friday and saturday. got temps up to 55.5 on friday then a cold rain blew through. nothing higher than 53.5 on saturday.

on the other hand. the fish were biting. :D mostly a jig bite. also carolina rigs and drop shot.
