Megastrike and not always for scent purposes. It lubes the bait well so the fish doesnt' get as good of a grip on it...giving a better hookset. Also with megastrike being a jelly in a tube I tend to make less of a mess with it and waste less.

I use two types.
Megastrike Craw from Yamamoto for coating my Ikas and jig trailers, and on swim baits. I think it makes them slide better in the bass' mouth, so the hookset is easier.
I use Yum scents, in all three flavors, for all my other plastics at times. Both the craw and shad scents will actually dye the plasics, which makes for some interesting colors, and the green garlic, which doesn't dye anything, seems to be a favorite of bass. Maybe they like Italian food, who knows?
I don't spray anything on my boat. I make scent bags from small baggies. Much less mess, and it gets more scent on the plastic.

Lunker Sauce is by far the best....the main reasons why: shoe polish type applicator for no mess or waste, doesn't stain clothes or carpet, doesn't change bait colors, stays on the bait due to molecular bonding (no petroluems used--oil and water don't mix), and it's made from the actual amino acids found in the scent (ie: threadfin shad, crawfish, etc...) I have found the threadfin to be the best out West, even on jigs.....I do the same thing with the baggies too, and since Lunker Sauce is water soluable and has no dyes, it won't ruin your plastics.......yes, I'm sponsored by Lunker Sauce, and in the two years I have been with the company I have used only two bottles....the stuff lasts forever.....again, just my .02, but I will never fish with out it.

I have to admit I have fished them all and your selections are good ones but I have to tell you nothing and I do meaning nothing compares to LPT by Yum.

If you've never tried it you should and then your mind will be made up.

That's just my 2 cents.

I think pro cure and stuff might go rancid. I use MegaStrike original. Yup it's a lube/ It's easy to use and not overly offensive and it's not raining all over my boat like the old style stuff. Does it help....yes. I'd rub it on the boat if I thought it would help but the Misty's get that job

Mark,

absolutely!!.....as long as you have kept the lid on and it didn't dry out....like I said it is water based, not petroleum based.....as long as you have some juice coming out it is still good...I still have a few of the prototype 'gel' tubes (has to be 3 years old) and they are still in perfect condition.....

I like MegaStrike. I've been trying to keep it a bit of a secret. But oh well. I've convinced 4 partners to use it now.

Here's a thought for you. Can you taste the scent/attractant you use? If you can't what make you think the bass can?

Hey Dakine,
what's up brah? I like the hotsauce and megastrike when it is warm out and the stuff is liquidy. it will disperse better in warmer water. In the colder months "bang" in the spray or trigger bottle will disperse better.

Megastrike Original on all my plastics and Yamamoto craw on my jigs. It lubes the bait real well and doesn't mess up my boat. I have tried bang and had issues with the spray can, and Berkley's Bass Attractant and what a mess that stuff makes.

By far the best I have used is Megastrike.
God Bless

haha I told my buddy to smell the bass feast smelly jelly. It was a hot day so when he unscrewed the cap a lot spilled on his hand and he eventualy threw up from the nasty rotten crayfish smelly jelly. It is weird how the nightcrawler scent dosnt seem as potent as the bass feast.

I saw the AF boys using stuff in a pink tube called "MANGINA" by Ricky Martin.. Suppose to work as a cologne and bass attractant.. Sounds like top-secret stuff to me
