About 12-13 miles inland. Take the 8 fwy east to the 67 north towards Lakeside. Get off at Riverford go left under fwy to Woodside, left to store which is right next to Santee Drive-in on the corner of Woodside and Wheatlands. Ask for Greg, Adam or Art. Rick G.

Anglers Arsenal is my favorite place in San Diego. Right off the 8 on the way out to the lakes. It would be worth a stop since youre coming from mission bay hyatt.

John Cassidy is a great dude.
Anglers Edge is also ok in Lakeside.

Anglers Marine is the "new kid on the block" in San Diego. Seems like there are people on here that work there or something. They're cool probably, but I figured you should know the options as well.

Alot of the San Diego fisherman are really "clicky" when it comes to stuff. John Cassidy has always been helpful without bias.
Just my .02 cents.
