Reputal mercury 2 stroke mechanic

Now that boatmasters is closed permanently I am looking for a reputable mercury 2 stroke mechanic . Any help would be greatly appreciated .

There is a very good Merc mechanic in Modesto, if that's not to far. Gerry Johnson, 209-604-5504.

Gerry is the best but he only works on motors he builds. Greg at C&C in Modesto is the man when it comes to everything Gerry will not do.

I don't think your statement is accurate. Gerry has worked on mine and others boats that he did not build. He only works on 2 strokes, Opti max motors. I think Gerry also builds most of the motors for Modesto C&C and Bobs Marine.

I've had luck with never letting them sit for more than a couple weeks at a time. Gives you an excuse to fish more.

Your right ! I must correct that Gerry only works on motors he builds and people who he knows and people who fish the Windy Wednesday nighters. He said that yesterday and almost every time I see him. He also doesn’t work on stuff in the boat so I was trying to let people know Greg does at C&C marine in Modesto and he is very good.

Are you trying to sabotage people's boats by referring Greg at C&C Marine as "very good"??? I thought the $20 an hour monkeys work on stuff inside the boat?
